LockerService in Lightning is a powerful security architecture for Lightning components implemented to make lightning components secure. Basically, LockerService enhances its security by isolating the individual Lightning components in their own namespace itself.
In order to eliminate multiple server calls for a single record, a new feature has been introduced in Winter’17 called Lightning Data Service (LDS) with the developer preview of force:recordPreview component.
In Salesforce Creating Custom Metadata Type is similar as creating custom objects or custom settings. The records of a custom metadata type are themselves metadata, not data. Custom Metadata Type and it is records can be moved from one org to another org during deployment, unlike Custom Settings where only metadata is eligible for migration.
Lightning Component, a single-page application, comprises of dynamic and responsive user interfaces which use JavaScript on the client side and Apex on the server side.
